A 2 hour drive from Grenoble airport - flights from UK with Ryanair and Easyjet. About an 8-10 hour drive from Calais.

La Joue du Loup is a village of traditionally built chalets and apartments. Good selection of shops, restaurants and bars - 2 supermarkets, ski and clothing shops, bakers, gift shops, gourmet food shops, night-club, all weather football pitch, Cinema, Cash Machine, Tourist Office, Creche.

Summer - Activities include - Open Air Swimming Pool, Mountain Biking (16 circuits - 250 km of trails around the area) and downhill (50 km of pistes: 2 greens, 1 blue, 2 reds & 1 black), Walking (240km of marked routes), Woodland Adventure Park - "Go Ape", Horse Riding, Paintball, Archery, Climbing, Canyoning, Via-Ferrata, Fishing, Paragliding, Mini-Golf, Tennis, In Line Skating. Also white water rafting nearby.
